Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn hated trailoring. Her dad was driving, she was in the passenger seat. She winced every time she heard a bang. Tic didn't like it either. He especially didn't like it when it was longer than a few hours. This one had been almost five. It would have been shorter, but there was lot's of traffic. Her dad parked the trailor next to all the other ones, then there was a very loud bang.
Kaitlyn sat there, her eyes closed, she sighed opening the door, getting out and slamming it. A groom shouted at her about the noise and how it would spook other horses. She explained that her horse sucked at trailoring and the groom told her to get the horse out and make sure it wasn't sore from kicking so much. She bit her lip to keep from saying something rude back. She opened doors, lowering the ramp. Tic pulled against his lead rope, trying to escape. Kaitlyn untied Tic, and lead him out. The gelding danced around, looking at everything.
She pulled on the somewhat large bay's halter, trying to lead him without letting him step on any other groom's feet. She walked him up and down the aisle a few times before finding his stall and putting him in the stall. He snorted, pacing the stall. She got her tack box and pulled the wheeled trunk up in front of his stall and gave him a treat. She sat down, exhausted. Tic had found the hay, she could hear the hay rustling as he ate it. The many grooms running around seemed like complete chaos. She knew many other people were arriving, but it still seemed more chaotic than necessary. She almost asked one to groom Tic for her but decided that she didn't want Tic stepping on one of them. She didn't want to do it though, so she just let the gelding eat and have peace for a while.
